Lucie Burns aka Lazy Hammock is an established artist, songwriter, vocalist,  Producer and DJ.  Lucie (once known as Hermione) is best known for her work with Afterlife (Steve Miller). She co-wrote and sang ‘Show You Something’ and ‘Borneo Is Burning’ on the successful ‘Simplicity’ album.  She has also appeared and recorded with other artists such as Jose Padilla, Asian Dub Foundation, Big Audio Dynamite and MJ Cole.

Lucie has worked on many different projects over the years, including writing all the material for her own band.  Last year she decided to start the ‘Lazy Hammock’ project, where she made the decision to vocal, produce and write all the material herself.

The result was ‘Island Lover’ a lounge chillout album which blends beautiful chocolate silken, sensual vocals with infectious beats and cool grooves to create the perfect backdrop to beautiful sunsets and chilled Sunday afternoons, taking you to that place.
